WOW, Well Worth the Reputation

Posted : 17 years ago on 15 April 2007 12:03 (A review of Close Encounters of the Third Kind)

This movie has a big reputation for being a classic Scifi movie, and it definatially is. UFOs flying through the skies, people with shared visions, and off course the government coverup. This does go down in the books for a classic, visually stunning, and powerful movie. Spielberg knows how to make a great movie, and I would suggest that if you haven't, see it.

A Serious Disappointment

Posted : 17 years ago on 14 April 2007 04:36 (A review of Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation)

This movie had crappy music from the beginning. I could handle that, but the storyline was horrible, and it was just overall a sad piece of sequel. I was hoping it could be a testiment to the first Starship Troopers, but I really think this movie should be buried and never mentioned again. I don't think I will be watching this one again anytime soon.

Oh Man, This game ROCKS!!!!!

Posted : 17 years ago on 14 April 2007 04:30 (A review of City of Heroes)

I am not much into the MMO world, but this game is quite possibly the only game I can pick up and go anytime of the day. I current do not play, but history has thought me that can change very quick. I love superheroes and I love taking down the bad guys, and this game allows to do all of that. You just can't top flying 100s of feet above the city and battling evil on rooftops. This game is my favorite of all time.

Awesoe Game

Posted : 17 years ago on 14 April 2007 04:27 (A review of StarCraft)

This is a great testiment to the RTS world. It has exellent missions, awesome troops, and so much you can do. There is not much that can top sending 100 soldiers to take down a Zerg base. One of my favorite RTSs.

Good, but somewhat disturbing

Posted : 17 years ago on 10 April 2007 04:52 (A review of Event Horizon)

This is like a sci-fi horror film that has some pretty interesting things behind it. It is a well put together film with lots to think about when the movie ends. It has some disturbing images, but after getting past those it is a pretty good movie. It has somewhat of a shpere feel for those who have seen that. There is something about going to hell and back on an experiemental spaceship that gets me a little interested.

Its a classic

Posted : 17 years ago on 10 April 2007 11:16 (A review of Broken Arrow)

This is one of the classic Travolta action flick. It has the same feel of Face-off, and it has just as much action. With the treat of nuclear weapons, Travolta makes an even crazier villian in this flick. Classic action films like this I can watch any day of the week, any time of the day.

Its Good......No, its AWESOME!!!

Posted : 17 years ago on 10 April 2007 11:09 (A review of MythBusters)

Just one question: Who doesn't like mythbusters.

If you dont like the show, your sure would at least love to have the job. You can get information from the show and then say "Man, that is cool and it makes sense." I sure rest better know that some things are just not true. I mean who doesnt want to see exploding pants, shooting a gas tank, and cutting the cable on an elevator?

My Favorite

Posted : 17 years ago on 10 April 2007 11:02 (A review of Tremors)

This is a classic and my absolute favorite movie. I love all the Tremors movies, but the original takes the cake. I will admit that it is not for everyone, but this is the bare bones of my kind of movie. Monsters, No Hope, Big Guns, COME ON! I love a good monster movie set in the middle of no where. I can pretty much tell you everything about the tremors characters, monsters, and storyline. Anyway, a 10/10 is too low for this one, its a 100/10 in my eyes!

It was Ok

Posted : 17 years ago on 10 April 2007 01:24 (A review of Man of the Year)

I think that this movie was a good 1-timer. I mean it was funny, but it had more of a comedic trama feel that anything else. I am not bashing it, but it is not really my cup of tea. Robin Williams did an exellent job, and I love all his movies. I won't really be watching this over and over, but I will suggest you see it at least once, like any movie.

Get the Picture review

Posted : 17 years ago on 8 April 2007 08:48 (A review of Get the Picture)

This is quite an old show, but you know retro Game Shows have a special place in my heart. I grew up in the late 80s and 90s so I love these types of shows. This isnt my favorite retro show, but I will watch anything from that era. This particular show can get quite old quick though.
