About meI am just another gamer who likes to play D&D, watch movies (a lot), and play video games. I am currently attending UAT, on my way to be a game programmer. I am always looking for a new friend, so drop me a line whenever you want.Recent reviewsMy Kind of Movie!

(A review of Executive Decision)This is your "typical" action movie, and it is old school as well. Back in the day when suspense and terrorists were the order of the day. Less politics more action I say. I could watch this movie 1000 times and never get tired of it. I LOVE IT! 0 comments, Reply to this entry

(A review of Shadowrun)The fact that all you can do is deathmatches or online play makes the game really boring for me. I enjoy a story mode, and I enjoy coop mode as well, and this game has neither. You can play online if you want.....if you want to wait 10 minutes for a match to pickup. The gameplay itself was pretty good, and having 4 unique races and lots of magic, tech, and weapons make it quite cool. But, I dont really like playing online that much, at least not FPSs, but I did try a couple games. This game has a unique feel and gameplay, so try it. If you enjoy it, more power to you. 0 comments, Reply to this entry

(A review of Transformers)Well, I didn't expect one thing or another, but I did expect a more realistic view on the whole idea of a tranformer. This movie definatly accomplished that. Altough they deviated from the true transformer theme, they did do a really great job of making up for it. The fight scenes were amazing, and action packed to the bone. It was sometimes hard to tell who was who, but they were still really awesome. For any transformer fan, you should go and see it. BUT, it should not be considered a family movie. This movie is not for the kids. 1 comments, Reply to this entry
Man, Frustrating

(A review of Dead Rising)OK, I was really ready to play this game, and I was definatly ready to take out some zombies. Then, the disappoint set in. Yeah, its a fun game to play, and it has some really cool features, but it can be so frustrating at times. Hey, Im a gamer, yeah I get angry, but this one took the cake. The save system in this game SUCKS, I would die and have to start from the last save? Autosave anyone? Try it for yourself, if you can handle the save system, more power to you. But, it can be pretty catchy at times, once you get a little use to the game. I havent got very far yet, but I may someday. Overall, not that bad, but you have to try it for yourself. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
WOW, Better than I expected

(A review of Stealth)This movie has gotten a really bad rep. After seeing it for myself, I can say that this was a really cool action/fighter pilot movie. First off, the jets in this movie were amazing, with the equally amazing visual effects to back it up. Second, the fact that the AI controlled plain has character development is just something that is cool. If you like action movies, dont listen to anyone, just see it and judge for yourself. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Good Comic Based Movie

(A review of Ghost Rider)First off, you really can't go too wrong with a movie based on a superhero, and this one is no exception. Not only did I enjoy the movie, but the story behind ghost rider was something I never really knew. I will have to read up on it an find out how close the movie was, hopefully it was dead on. The visual effects were pretty cool, and Nicolas Cage play a really get character. All in all, the movie was really nice. If you like superhero/comic based movies, see it for yourself. 1 comments, Reply to this entry

(A review of Crackdown)At first I thought this was another one of those "thug" games where you had to make you way up the ladder by gaining "street cred" or soemthing ridiculous like that. But, after some research I found that this game is really awesome. The whole fact that you have to take down the gangs "by any means neccesary" is just sweet. Who doesn't want to jump 30ft in the air, taking downing a gang memeber mid-jump, then running over a truck load of them, all for experience. This game is one of the best I have seen in a while. Oh yeah, who doesnt want to try halo 3? 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Not Bad at all

(A review of Steamboy)You know, I rented it because I just thought it was something I had to see. I am pretty sure there is some deep meaning and undertone to the whole thing, but I never really catch those, and if I do I dont really care. It was a pretty awesome movie, but it was more oriented towards a younger audience, so it had a few things that just bored me. Some of the effects looked like a combination between animation and CGI, or the whole movie was done in CGI (Which would mean it was very good CGI). And the effects themselves where amamzing, with lots of action, backstabing, family quarrels, and explosions. The only issue I really had is that some of the machines where not all that amazing. Yeah, this was set in the late 1800s and it was steam powered, but you can come up with something better that what was there. Anyway, It was a pretty good one, and I really dont even watch anime. Good animation, good story, and awesome action seens. See it, you might enjoy it. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
It was good, but not a classic

(A review of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End)In my eyes, this movie was pretty good. A mix of suspense, action, and comedy made the movie an 8 in my books. The only issue I had is the fact that it could be a little boring at times, and there are some slight disappointments with what some of the characters end up to be. The thing that probably dropped my review an entire point was the scene that is after the credits. When you are ready to see something amazing and all you get is something you knew would happen anyway, wouldn't you be disappointed? I would suggest seeing it, but don't be too overjoyed about it, and definatly don't wait for the scene after the credits. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
Good, but a slight Disappointment

(A review of Pan's Labyrinth)Ok, so I have been waiting to see this movie for a long time, and I have built up quite an excitment for it. As with any high expectations, I was slight disappointed in the way the movie was presented. The previews I saw gave the movie a fantastic feel when in reality the movie focused more on the story of the gril in real life rather than her fantasy world. But in the end it was maid up for by the fact that so many people died. Lost of action, a little bit of fantasy, and some pretty good music. See it, but don't expect another LOTR or Neverending story. 0 comments, Reply to this entry
